Slimeline and Ornaments Card
Hi friends, I’m back with the new “I Love Hanging with You Dies” from the Let it Snow Release. These ornaments are so cute and with the bows, come on! The sentiment being a cute little pun, you could make for a friend or your loved ones! I decided to do a slimline with the Stitched Scallop Slimline Dies, but without the foliage from the I Love Hanging with You Die set. I love using Pink and Red for Christmas, then with the white and gold I was set. When I die cut out the ornaments and I arranged them to where there wasn’t the two of the same color next to each other. I adhered them together and popping them up with foam squares.
For the inside of the Stitched Scallop frame, I embossed a white panel and trimmed it down to fit inside the hot pink scallop frame. So with the sentiment, I know you’ll cringe! I cut the stamp to create two stripes for the sentiment. I will say this is the second time I’ve done it. I stamped and white heat embossed it on black cardstock. I just used my trimmer to cut it down to a rectangular size, and popped it up with foam squares.
As I laid out the design, I wanted to make it evenly proportioned with room for the sentiments. Have you ever cut your stamps? Let me know in the comments! Have a great crafty day my friends!
