Oh Holy Night!

Today I’m sharing a sweet and peaceful 5x7 nativity Christmas card created with the Holly Jolly Stamp Set, Holly Jolly Pixi Cuts, and the Oh Holy Night Sentiment Die from Pixi Dust Designs. I started by stamping the manger image onto Hammermill Smooth Cardstock and coloring everything with my Ohuhu Brush Markers to give the scene a soft, warm glow. Once everything was cut out with the coordinating Pixi Cuts, I moved on to the background—my favorite part. A fresh panel of Hammermill cardstock became a rich, ink-blended night sky using Distress Oxide Inks, complete with water droplets, iridescent shimmer spray, and white splatter to mimic stars. I blended the shadow layer of the sentiment in coordinating blues and cut the top layer, along with a handful of tiny stars, from silver cardstock to bring in even more shine.
