Popsicle Time!

Hello, Nancy from Scrapperatheart.com and I am excited to be back today with another card using the fabulous Pixi Dust Designs products. This time, I have a shaker card, which is not something I do very often. This is my first time using this Tag C-Die Set, and I have turned it into a popsicle. Of course, I am sure you figured out that it’s Cherry-flavored. 😆 The cherries are part of the Ice Cream Sundae set.

Instead of using foam tape on my shaker, I prefer to do a large amount of die cutting to build my gap between the base of the object and the acetate window. I love how clean it looks around the edges and that you can’t see the tape. I think this one actually has eleven layers and you can kind of see how thick it is in the photos. I just used a rounded cornered sentiment die for my posicle stick, it worked perfectly.

Because the popsicle is sticking over the end of the card base I shortened the card base down about 1/2 of an inch so that it would still fit in an A2 size envelope.
