Squeeze the day!

Hello, crafty friends! Debbie here, and I'm excited to share my project featuring the new Lemonade Jar Die set from the July release at Pixi Dust Designs. Although this die is designed for shaker cards, I love finding alternative uses for it.
To start, I looked for lemon-patterned paper, and I found some from Lawn Fawn that they sent as a freebie. It came from a 12x12 piece, which I could tell by its scale. I die-cut the lemon-patterned paper to fit a standard A2 vertical card. The reverse side of this paper is a matching plaid, so I also die-cut the lemonade jar from that plaid pattern.
To help the jar stand out without being too busy, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock using the Waffle Flower Stitched Basics 2 die.
I knew I wanted to include some flowers in the jar, so I used the new Calla Lilies die set. I die-cut the flowers from white and green cardstock. Before attaching the flower heads, I ink blended some yellow into the centers using leftover ink from my brush. I trimmed the leaves and stems to make it easier to arrange the bouquet.
Once I had almost everything finished, with the popped-up lemons and flowers added, I realized I wanted to add twine around the neck of the jar. Luckily, I was able to lift it using one of the foam squares. I wrapped twine around three times and tied it in a bow. After securing it, I placed the foam back down—it was a stroke of luck!
Finally, I stamped a sentiment from a set in my stash that fit perfectly. I’m really happy with how this project turned out; I think it looks sweet!
