I Shall not Want!
Hi crafty friends, Debbie here, and I'm back with the adorable new "The Lord is my Shepherd" stamp and die set from the newest release here at Pixi Dust Designs. How cute is this little lamb? And wouldn't it be cute for a baby shower card?

I decided for my card today that I would make it a pop-up card. But first I need to figure out my color combination, so I searched through my pattern paper stash. Once I found these little patterns of flowers and a sunburst of another pattern paper pack, I knew it would be perfect.
So, I grabbed a piece of white card stock measuring 7 1/4 X 5 1/2 inches. Then, in my scoreboard I scored on each side 1/2 inch, 1 inch, and 11/2 inches in. Folding the sides to make it look like a W, having one side to glue to a front panel.
Speaking of my front panel. I used an arch die and green card stock to match the flower pattern. I die-cut with the larger arch die in the middle of the pattern panel measuring 4 1/2 X 5 1/5 inches. Then, with the next size down die, I die-cut from the green card stock in the middle as best as possible. If they don't match up perfectly, just move the green panel around until they do. Glue the two panels together with liquid glue and trim off the excess paper.
But before I attach the front panel to the back one, I need to adhere the sunburst pattern paper to the inside with liquid glue. Then I stamped on the sentiment from the set directly on the sunburst pattern paper. I placed it in my Misti, placing the arch panel over to make sure the sentiment was in the correct area.
Next, I started to build the scene, adding the green grass to the bottom of the arch. Gluing the feet of the lamb to the grass, I would use your tweezers to hold it there until the glue dries. Since I had a few extra sunflowers made from the Be Strong & Courageous Stamp and Die set, I decided to add them as well!
To finish it off, I attached the arch panel to the back panel with liquid glue. No card base is needed; just add your comment and name to the back.
