Harry Potter

Hi friends, Debbie here! If you are a huge Harry Potter fan, then Pixi Dust Designs have you covered with the newest release!

Today, I am sharing the adorable new Wizard Mug Dies!!! The mug dies are super fun to play with! You can make a shaped card, a treat box or a card.

I started off with making the mug with some browns, black, dark red, mustard, and skin tone card stocks. Die cut out the base using the skin tone card stock, add the remaining ink from your pink brush for the cheeks. I like to just place the bang over the base to be able to adhere the glasses on. When looking at Harry’s glasses make sure the ear piece goes upward. Once the glasses are on then you can attach the eyes, brows and the scar on. Place the hair back on the make sure you can see the scar. It is crucial to see it for Harry Potter.

With the Red scarf and handle cut and the golden mustard stripe pieces attach them with liquid glue. Now that these pieces are attached, add 3D foam to the back of the hair and attach it to the base. The coffee can be attached also with liquid glue.

With the hair there are lines in the die to give the paper some added detail. I add Copic pen E79 in the lines to enhance the lines.

Then from the Wizard World Dies, Harry’s accessories. I grabbed the Sorting Hat and Flying Broom. Die cut out with browns and black. The Sorting Hat I added dimension with ink and E79 Copic Pen. With the top layer, I added small 3D foam squares to give dimension to the hat. Next with the Flying broom, I added brown ink on the handle to make a difference between the handle and the bristles. Detail lines I used E44 Copic pen.

With the new Wizard World Paper Pad grabbed the stripe pattern and die cut with a two window frame from my stash. I did die cut it out three more times from white card stock to stack up for dimension. Adhere to a Standard A2 side fold card base.

Add 3D foam to the back of the HP mug and add to the center of the largest window.
Add some foam to the back of the broom and hat. Adhere to the bottom window.

The Magical die sentiment is from my stash, I die cut it out with Pixie Dust (glitter) card stock and black. When I attached together with liquid glue I off set it.
Finally, I added two different sizes of gold stars around the HP mug.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
