Camping Stamps!

Hey crafty friends! Zoe here to share a card I created using the NEW Outdoor Fun Stamp set and coordinating dies - in the store September 18. This set is perfect for the campers in your life. This card features the critter in the sleeping bag and tent. I thought this little guy would be dreaming of acorns under a starry sky. I opted for a warm glow in the tent as if a night light is on. This stamp set is so cute and perfect for scene cards.

This is an A2 card which measures 4.25 by 5.5 in landscape orientation.

Background
This background was created using a 4.25 x5.5 sheet of navy cardstock. I splattered the navy cardstock with white, gold, and bronze acrylic paint.
Next, take a 4.25 x 5 sheet of black cardstock and rip it in a ragged line near the top. Pro tip – use solid core black cardstock.
Adhere the ripped black cardstock along the bottom of the navy cardstock after the paint has dried to create a night background.
Use a large oval die to cut out the background.
Cut .5 inch strips of black, teal, and yellow paper and adhere in a geometric pattern on the card base.
Heat emboss the sentiment to the lower right portion of the black part of the background with the Happy Camper sentiment.
Draw a speech bubble and fussy cut out (set aside).

Coloring
Color the images using the coloring medium of your choice. Copic Markers were used to color the images. The markers used were:
Tent/Sleeping Bag: BG07, BG45, and BG01, Y19 and Y08, T7 and T5
Acorns: E89, E87, E84
Critter: E35, E33, W7, W5, and R21 (inside of ears)

Assembly
Adhere the stamped images as shown to your oval background. Adhere the oval background onto the card base with the geometric background paper strips.
