Bokeh Butterflies!
Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing a fun card featuring the new Fancy Butterfly dies from Pixi Dust Designs.
For this A2 card, I created a bokeh background using twisted citron, peacock feathers, and mermaid lagoon oxide inks. I used watercolor cardstock and blended the inks in a random pattern. I then let it dry for a few minutes and used the same inks to color my butterflies (also cut from watercolor paper).
Once your background is dry, I went in with some different-sized circle stencils andink to create the bubbles. Using the same white ink, I put some on my glass mat, added a little water, and splattered that on top of the card and butterflies. I then let that dry (but you could use a heat gun if you’re in a hurry).
Then die cut my background. It was then added to a white card base, and I added a sentiment. I really love how fun this is to create!
