Beautiful Prayer Card!

Hi friends, Debbie here with a simple card today using the new “You are the Light of the World” die set from the Pixi Promises Release.

I started by die-cutting the elements from the set, adhering them together with liquid glue. I did not know how many flowers I needed to make so I did one round of cuts from the set. Eventually, I did have to cut out more flowers and leaves.

Then, with a standard A2 panel of Bristol smooth, I ink blended the center with a distress oxide yellow Lemonade ink. Then I went around the edges with three shades of blues, with the darkest on the very edge to give a nice glow. I didn’t go too close to the yellow because I didn’t want it to turn green.

Before I started to attach the lantern and the flowers, I splattered the panel with Gold and white. I stamped on the sentiment from the set with a black pigment ink.

And with foam squares on the back of the lantern, I popped it on the panel to show the glow. Then I started arranging the flowers around the lantern, tucking them in behind.

My final touch was to add some gold stars from my stash
