Reindeer Tag
Hello and welcome! April Leithner from Design Team here with a cute tag featuring the NEW X-Mas Pals Die Set. This set features four adorable images that can be used for tags, cards or gift boxes. I might even make a few for the Christmas tree in my craft studio.
I began with a #5 tag and did some ink smooshing with a red water reactive ink. I dried between layers to add dimension to the tag. I finished the tag with some mica sprays and dragging the edges of my tag over my ink pad to darken them.
I die cut all the pieces for the reindeer from the X-Mas Pals Die Set out of white cardstock, then ink blended the images. You could use colored cardstock as well. I used a couple tones of brown and red. I did die cut the eyes from black cardstock.
Next, I adhered all my pieces together with liquid glue and let dry. I added some Glossy Accents to the nose and let this dry for several hours.
After creating a piece of red cardstock by going direct to paper with an ink pad, I heat embossed a sentiment from the NEW Happy Holidays Stamp Set using black pigment ink and clear embossing powder. I popped this up with some thin foam squares on the bottom portion of the tag.
Once the nose of the reindeer was dry, I used an Action Wobbler to place the reindeer above the sentiment. This gives a great wobble to the reindeer and makes the tag extra fun.
I finished the tag by adding some ribbons and red pearls from my stash.
The X-Mas Pals Die Set is so adorable with a reindeer, Santa, penguin, and gingerbread man in the set. You will have a ton of fun playing with these cute images. Make sure to check out the entire NEW release that is filled with great Christmas sets.
