Anaelly's Magical Book Mark!

I’m sharing a simple but super cute memento—perfect for book lovers!  It’s a bit thicker than your average bookmark, but hey… There are no rules in paper crafting!
I lined up and taped both coordinating dies from the Wizard Bookmark die making sure they were secure so the inner die wouldn’t shift.

Using the taped dies, I die cut one pink frame and five white frames (can be less depending on thickness of paper).  The layers create the shaker frame, so I wanted enough height to really get that shakety shake!

Next,  using just the outer bookmark die, I cut one piece of acetate and one piece of white mixed media cardstock for the backing.  At this point I had all my pieces ready:  one pink frame, five white frames, and a full bookmark cutout in acetate and white cardstock.

For the backing, I ink-smooshed Distress Spray in Spun Sugar and added a little splatter of Distress Spritz in Hickory Smoke and Wilted Violet.  Once dry, I stamped the “You put a spell on me”  sentiment from the Wizard Potions mug on the background.
Next, I glued the white frames together and onto the splattered background to create the “shaker well”, dusted it with anti-static powder and filled it with sequins.  After attaching the pink frame to the acetate, I glued that layer on top to seal everything in.

For added texture and fun details, I cut and inked the potion elements from the Potions Wizards Mug Die, adding bubbles and highlights with a white gel pen.  Finished it off with a ribbon and voilà, a shaker bookmark!  I hope you give it a try!💕
